Ordering custom hats for your business shouldn’t feel like a guessing game. Whether you’re outfitting a field crew, a front-desk team, or a booth at your next trade show, the process follows the same eight steps. Here’s exactly how it works at our shop in Round Rock, and what to have ready so your quote comes back fast and accurate.
Step 1: Decide how many hats you need
Start with a headcount, then add a few extras for new hires, giveaways, or the inevitable “can I get one too?”
- Minimum order: 12 caps per logo. “Per logo” means the same artwork. Most of our caps let you mix colors within those 12.
- The one exception: our off-brand 6-panel trucker (our best-value cap) needs 12 or more of the exact same color for each color you order.
- Price breaks count everything with the same art. If you order 50 caps with the same logo, you get the 50-cap price, even across several cap colors.
- Prices are listed from 25 caps up, at 25, 36, 50, 100, 144, 256, and 512. Orders of 12–24 caps are quoted individually.
If you’re near a price break, ask what the jump would cost. Per-cap prices drop as quantity goes up, so ordering 50 instead of 40 sometimes costs less than you’d think.
Step 2: Pick a cap style
The cap matters as much as the logo. A crew working outside all day wants something different from a sales team meeting clients. Here are the caps on our

Step 3: Pick a logo style
How your logo goes on the cap changes the look, the feel, and the price. Here’s where each style starts, per cap at 25, cap and decoration included:

A few details that affect the price:
- Side logo: an embroidered front includes one side logo (left or right) at no extra charge. On patch fronts, side decoration is priced separately.
- Back embroidery: +$5 per cap at 25 or more.
- Stitch count: embroidery prices assume under 10,000 stitches. Bigger, denser designs add $0.50 per cap (10,000–15,000 stitches) or $1.00 per cap (over 15,000).

Step 4: Set your budget
Here’s a real example from our
Caps page pricing: 25 embroidered Yupoong 6606 trucker caps at $17.50 each is $437.50, plus the one-time $35 setup fee on a new order.
To build your own number:
- Find your cap and logo style on the price matrix.
- Multiply the per-cap price by your quantity.
- Add $35 setup for a new order (waived on reorders).
- Add any extras: back embroidery, a high stitch count, or rush.
Rush: if you need caps in under 10 business days, rush adds 15% to the total. Whether rush is possible depends on our schedule and cap availability, so put your date on the quote form and we’ll tell you straight.

Step 5: Send your logo and quote request
Fill out our
quick quote form with:
- Your logo or art. Any format is fine to start. Vector files (.ai, .eps, .pdf, or .svg) give the cleanest result, and we’ll let you know if we need something sharper.
- Quantity, and how many of each color if you’re mixing.
- Cap style, or “help me pick.”
- Logo style, or “recommend one.”
- Extras, like a side or back logo.
- Your in-hand date, the day you need the hats, not the day you’d like to start.

Step 6: Approve your free mockup
Every quote comes with a free digital mockup showing your logo on the cap you picked, in the size and spot we’ll use. Look it over closely:
- Is the logo the right size and placement?
- Are the colors right?
- Is every word spelled correctly?
- Does anyone else (your boss, a client, a committee) need to sign off?
Ask for changes until it’s right. Nothing goes into production until you approve.
Step 7: Production and delivery
Standard turnaround is 10–15 business days from mockup approval, which is roughly two to three weeks. The clock starts at approval, not at your first email, so a quick sign-off is the easiest way to get your hats sooner.
We’re in Round Rock and ship anywhere. If your hats need to reach more than one location, mention it on your quote request.
Step 8: Reorder the easy way
When new hires start or the first batch runs out, reordering is simple. Reference your last order, tell us the new quantity, and the $35 setup fee is waived. Because the art is already approved, there’s no starting from scratch.
